Personal Background I have been a resident of Bucks County for over Thirty Seven Years. Over this period I have been able to watch the area grow and enjoy many activities and experiences that our community offers. Showing Buyers that this is the perfect place to live and work as the area features such things as museums, fine dining, sporting activities combined with endless shopping and entertainment. I love to travel and experience new areas around the country but I have yet to find one area that feels more like home to me than Bucks County. As a REALTOR® selling your home, I focus on the benefits of home ownership in an area that’s both diverse and friendly, while providing prospective Buyers with a positive picture of our community as a whole. On a personal note, I have been married for over 13 years, now with three daughters and reside in Plumstead Township just west of Doylestown. I had been a Volunteer Fireman with the communities local Fire Company and am very proud of our local residents and time they give back to the community. Lastly having children of my own I take comfort in knowing they are being educated in award winning school system. Experience in many areas of Real Estate with First time home buyers to the down-sizer, selling condos, town homes, single family, multi unit investment properties, raw land and new construction. As an investor of real estate myself I understand the need for smart investments in properties that will bring a positive return. When working for my Buyers I am always looking for properties that are salable- good tip-when looking for a property you need to consider re-sale in the event you need to move tomorrow. Things to consider will be how marketable is the property? How big the Buyer pool is will help determine how long it might take to sell. What improvements can I make to increase value when it is time to sell. Real Estate is an investment so make it a smart one! Sellers- my job is to find the right buyer for your property with smart planning, extensive marketing, solid presentation and smart pricing. There is a buyer for every property out there and sometimes it takes some extra effort and thinking outside the box which I enjoy. If you or someone you know has a property they want to buy or sell in the near or distant future and are ready to take the steps to move forward just call me and love to help! Best regards, Todd

His compassion, integrity and straightforward attitude allow him to swim through the murky waters of the real estate market and sooth his clients concerns. It is also his strong belief that although the sale or purchase of a home is a serious and stressful process, he believes that keeping your sense of humor is of utmost priority.A decade long career in various high end building trades have given him a solid background in construction techniques and standards that assist him in judging the value of any home. This insight allows his buyers and sellers to have a deeper level of confidence when confronted with obstacles during the real estate transaction.Derek has been mentored by an industry-leading agent and is always looking for his next challenge. Viewing education as the single greatest advantage to separate himself from other REALTOR®s, Derek seeks coursework in order to continually enhance his skill sets and feed his passion for the industry while exceeding his client’s expectations.Passionate about sports, politics and art, Derek can be seen with his wife, Alanna, exploring Philadelphia, speaking with neighbors as a member of the community association board, and getting up early on the weekend to watch English futbol in the spring and American football in the fall with his dog Oscar.…And remember every home needs a John…actually two full and one half Johns.TestimonialDerek worked quickly and was in constant communication about what was available. After about a week of searching for rentals, he then had to switch gears after our decision to purchase a home instead of continuing to rent. Derek handled the new task at hand with enthusiasm and a very high degree of professionalism. He is personable and amazing to work with, and from the moment we met, we knew we were in good hands. Through the stress of negotiation, home inspection and receiving a lower than expected appraisal value, Derek was right there with us and we are thankful to have had him on our side. We look forward now to our closing in just a few weeks and would definitely recommend him, without a second thought, to other prospective buyers or renters.

“I recently worked with Doug to sell my house. It was a very smooth and quick process. Doug helped me price my house appropriately, and he was always available throughout the negotiation process. He was a great communicator and was always eager and willing to answer my numerous questions. Doug is very friendly and knowledgeable and it was a pleasure to work with him as my real estate agent. My house was only on the market for 4 days and then was sold. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I’m so glad I got to work with Doug and would highly recommend him to anybody looking for a realtor”.
“I am very pleased to have worked with Doug Raitt in the purchase of my home in December 2015. He was extremely professional throughout the search and purchase. Doug knows the Bucks County area well, and provided me with options in areas I had not previously considered. He was incredibly responsive, answering each of my questions promptly, completely, and cheerfully. Doug was there every step of the way, providing me with every bit of needed information as closing approached, resulting in a very smooth and pleasant process. Doug truly goes above and beyond, and proved this two months post-settlement when he stepped in and ensured an issue with my home warranty company was resolved to my satisfaction. I would highly recommend Doug Raitt to anyone interested in purchasing a home”.

We also recommended her to a friend of ours, and they interviewed either 4 or 5 REALTOR®s and they were very impressed with Janice and they did use her and she sold their house in a day- with two offers in first day! They couldn’t say enough about her! I would recommend her to everyone!! She is very knowledgeable and very honest! Paula and Larry Moorehead—–My wife and I first met Janice when we were casually looking at homes. When we first spoke at an open house we explained to her that we were not quite on the market yet and it may be a few years before we were ready to buy. Despite our lack of commitment, Janice showed us every courtesy that she would have shown a serious customer, explaining the process, giving us tips, and showing us all the houses we wanted. When we were ready to buy Janice spent a considerable amount of time taking us to all kinds of houses, being infinitely patient with our changing tastes as we figured out what we wanted in our first home. She showed us homes on short notice and was very informative through out the whole process. We were very happy with our experience with Janice, and if we ever decide to move, she will be the one we contact to help. Testimonial Marie Kovach is a high quality real estate agent in the Doylestown PA area. She was extremely helpful for us as first time home-buyers in navigating the process and in finding the right home for us. She always acted in our best interest, was great with communication and was a pleasure to work with. She was also very knowledgeable about the market in Doylestown and the surrounding area and this helped us make a great decision and find a wonderful home for our family! I would strongly recommend Marie to anyone in this area. -Buyer, Chalfont Marie was great to work with. Very helpful in making suggestions when we were looking and even more helpful once we had chosen a home and had a contract. The person we were purchasing the house from was rather difficult, and Marie was great in making sure that everything went smoothly. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a home in Bucks County. -Buyer, Yardley Marie works closely with her clients to make the sale happen! Going the extra mile is more the rule then the exception with her. From the initial listing, to the settlement table, Marie will be with you every step of the way! -Seller, Doylestown Marie answered all my questions. If she did not know the answer, she would find out and get back to me. Her hard work exceeded all of my expectations. She was supportive and sympathetic to my situation. The selling of my home was very stressful and she allayed all my fears. Despite the meager commission, as my sale was a short sell, she treated me with respect and was willing to listen. I would highly recommend Marie to all friends. If I am in the area again and in need of a real estate agent, I would not hesitate to use her. -Seller, Doylestown

Email Pat Pat has been a successful Full-Time Pennsylvania licensed REALTOR® since 1984. She began her career under the tutelage of one of the best Broker/Owners of a still very well-respected Real Estate firm located in Bucks County Pennsylvania. “I was lucky to have had the opportunity to begin my real estate career working for one of the most successful, ethical, honest, hard-working REALTOR®/Broker’s in this business. He was a wonderful mentor with the highest of standards for client care that I’ve modeled throughout my career!” Pat has worked with First-time & Move up Buyers, Down Sizing & Relocating Sellers, Residential and Commercial Real Estate Investors and is particularly sensitive to the emotions we all experience when making decisions about one of the biggest investments of our lifetime. “So much has changed over the years in the way we do business with the evolution of technology but one thing that will never change is my commitment to my client! There simply is no substitute for good, old-fashioned customer service!” Pat has counseled homeowners who’ve fallen behind on mortgage payments and assisted them through the Short Sale process when a Loan Modification was simply not an option. You’ll be hard pressed to find another REALTOR® with Pat’s thorough knowledge and understanding of the contracts we use when buying/selling Real Estate. “Whether you’re a Buyer, a Seller, or both; consider working with a REALTOR® who is a seasoned professional available to answer any and all of your questions, listen to your fears, concerns, hopes and dreams and help you sort through the myriad of emotions that often come up when making one of the biggest decisions of your life. I’d love for you to interview me. One thing I know for sure after all of these years is everyone chooses their REALTOR® based not just on that REALTOR®’s experience, track record, ability etc., but based on whether or not the client feels a level of trust, comfort and camaraderie with the REALTOR®.” Pat has been a Bucks County resident for more than 40 years and has called Doylestown home since 2001. She’s extremely handy and enjoys remodeling and redecorating her home. A lover of animals and nature, her hideaway on 7 acres where Red Fox, Deer, Geese, Groundhog, Hawk and more critters live is truly her “Happy Place” especially when her daughter, son-in-law and 3 toddler grand kids are visiting! She designed, created and regularly updates our Class-Harlan Listing Slideshow presentation that runs 24/7/365 on two 40” monitors at Class-Harlan. Scott and his wife Sally moved to Bucks county in 1991 when they purchased their first home in Perkasie. Sally, a teacher, began teaching Art at Central Bucks High School, while Scott forged a career in medical equipment sales. In 1999 the Matlacks’ moved to their current home in Doylestown. Scott’s career in medical sales spanned thirty years. While representing General Electric and Philips Medical, as well as other nationally recognized companies, Scott called upon hospitals providing much needed, new and safer monitoring equipment to care for their most critically ill patients. These were complex installations, touching multiple nursing units, often connected throughout the hospital, sharing data and assisting diagnosis. “The most important thing I did was to give nurses and physicians better tools to care for their patients. I always took the approach that it could be my mother in that ICU bed.”Scott’s experience translates well in assuring his success as a REALTOR®. “My clients know that I work for them, not me. It’s their needs and goals that are most important to me. Selling or buying a house is a hugely important decision, one that I take very seriously. Honesty, confidentiality, and attention to detail are what I promise to deliver.”At heart Scott is a competitor. He played soccer while at Penn State, and still plays as much tennis as possible. He also enjoys golfing and watching Premier League Soccer and NFL Football. “I love the Bucks County area. I particularly like biking along the towpath along the Delaware River. Look for me at Central Park walking our Corgis in the morning.” June 2018 Review – “Scott Matlack represented my husband and me in the purchase of a residential investment property. He was an absolute pleasure to work with. He was extremely diligent and so genuine. Having such an honest and trustworthy agent made our first ever investment purchase much less stressful than it might have been. Scott was always professional and really looked out for our interests. He was extremely flexible with coordinating his and our schedules and always responded promptly to us at any time of the day or night. It just felt like we had a really good, loyal friend handling everything, and that is golden in the world of real estate! “

A transplant from the UK via Denmark, the Netherlands, Hoboken and Philadelphia, I have been a proud resident of Bucks County since 2012 and am settled happily in Doylestown Borough.
I started working in real estate soon after my arrival in the US in Hoboken, NJ and absolutely loved it. I worked with a great company with dynamic agents and wonderful clients. I also co-owned a small Home Staging company. I really enjoyed helping clients stage their homes ready for sale. I also worked with builders to stage model units and advised on design choices.
I enthusiastically worked my way up the real estate ladder on a personal level. Starting in a small one bedroom condo, we bought, renovated and sold our way through larger condos and finally into a three story row home which we gutted and added an extension to. After we moved we were excited to discover that the kitchen I had designed was featured on “Throwdown with Bobby Flay” twice on the Food Network.
Having moved to Center City Philadelphia I continued with real estate for a short time, did another large renovation and then took a sabbatical to go traveling around the world for several months. On our return we began our biggest adventure yet; parenthood.
As a stay at home parent I did some freelance writing for Bucks Happenings, Airbnb’d my unique home and worked as a photographer. Additionally, I founded and continue to run the Doylestown Separated and Divorced Meetup Group which has grown to over 1200 members in the past year and a half.
I also enjoy singing in a local choir and photography as well as cups of tea and socializing with my friends and neighbors.
My passion has always been with real estate, so I started my search for a real estate office which I would enjoy as much as my office in Hoboken. I am so pleased to be back in the business at the dynamic Class Harlan Real estate office in historic Doylestown Borough.
