Scott was born and raised in Philadelphia and graduated from Penn State with a degree in Business Administration. Scott and his wife Sally moved to Bucks county in 1991 when they purchased their first home in Perkasie. Sally, a teacher, began teaching Art at Central Bucks High School, while Scott forged a career in medical equipment sales. In 1999 the Matlacks’ moved to their current home in Doylestown. Scott’s career in medical sales spanned thirty years. While representing General Electric and Philips Medical, as well as other nationally recognized companies, Scott called upon hospitals providing much needed, new and safer monitoring equipment to care for their most critically ill patients. These were complex installations, touching multiple nursing units, often connected throughout the hospital, sharing data and assisting diagnosis. “The most important thing I did was to give nurses and physicians better tools to care for their patients. I always took the approach that it could be my mother in that ICU bed.”Scott’s experience translates well in assuring his success as a REALTOR®. “My clients know that I work for them, not me. Honesty, confidentiality, and attention to detail are what I promise to deliver.”At heart Scott is a competitor. He played soccer while at Penn State, and still plays as much tennis as possible. He also enjoys golfing and watching Premier League Soccer and NFL Football. “I love the Bucks County area. I particularly like biking along the towpath along the Delaware River.
